Is it wrong that I can be so amused for so long by icanhascheezburger.com?

It's been a pretty horrible day outside. It's rained pretty much constantly, which means irritatingly, I may not be able to do any firespinning at Daniele's party later (I don't want water to ruin my wicks!).

As I was walking home, I heard a meowing. There was a little grey and white piebald cat sitting on the wall, looking a little sorry for itself. Poor little thing must've gotten locked out somehow. I tried to get a closer look at him, but he ran away and hid in some shrubbery.

Anyway, I got home and went through to the kitchen, only to hear the same meowing again. I looked out of the window, and random kitty was sitting in the garden. He even jumped up and sat on the window sill. I was going to put some food out for him, but then he looked into the dining room and saw Fraidy Cat looking back at him. Fraidy cat is notoriously unfriendly to most other cats, so random kitty ran off into the darkness.


Fraidy Cat's now curled up next to me, purring to himself quietly.

I hope random kitty's ok...

So I've actually been stuck at home for the past three days (yep, over the weekend), courtesy of illness. I hate being ill, because it's always the same thing. I get frustrated because my body feels like crap, but my brain is just as active as ever. When I feel like looking at a screen, it helps to either read stuff, write stuff or play computer games.


Hopefully I'll be back to work tomorrow. If not though, at least I have these two to keep me company during the day...

Yes, it's true. Cats can do science.

...or at least they always try and help. This fuzzy little reprobate usually tries to help by sitting on my notes!
